Job summary

Georgia Power seeks a Project Controls Metrics, Reporting, and Technology Analyst to analyze, develop, and implement reporting and analytics solutions that enhance project visibility and data-driven decision-making across the Capital Portfolio. The analyst will build dashboards and automated reporting tools to deliver actionable insights for project teams and leadership.

Responsibilities include data quality governance, cross-functional collaboration, forecasting, and scenario evaluations;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years in data analytics, BI, or related functions
• Experience building KPIs, metrics, scorecards, dashboards
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, Excel or similar
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends and opportunities
• Experience cross-functional collaboration to gather requirements and implement solutions
• SQL, Python, or R skills are a plus
• Experience with Alteryx or workflow tools is a plus
• Familiarity with large-scale organizational change is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain analytical models, reporting solutions, and datasets to enable data-driven decisions across Project Controls
• Improve data quality, governance, and standardization of project controls data
• Provide data-driven insights to support process improvements
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and drive adoption of dashboards and tools
• Provide analytical support across Cost, Schedule, Risk, and Change Management
• Support strategic planning with forecasting, trend analysis, and scenario evaluation
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects for portfolio decision-making
