Job summary

columbiainternal is seeking a Pricing Specialist in Anchorage, AK to maintain pricing calendars and input pricing structures per management and supplier agreements. The role requires data entry, cost analysis, and coordination with multiple departments to ensure accurate price catalogs.

Responsibilities include communicating approved pricing, tracking changes, maintaining product files, reviewing variances, and supporting cost analyses with the Pricing Analyst.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years pricing and/or accounting experience.
• Experience with pricing data analysis is preferred.

Summary

Pricing Specialists accurately maintain and monitor supplier pricing calendars, including inputting and adjusting pricing structures based on management and supplier agreements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather, organize and prepare data entries; cost of and sell price to the trade into the system including research of cost discrepancies and analyze costs components
• Communicate and deliver approved pricing to respective departments for pricing submittal to retail and graphics for price catalogs
• Track Freight on Board (FOB), front line and post off pricing changes; notify purchasers, chain and sales departments
• Maintain and create new product files including paperwork preparation
• Review invoice pricing variances and month end depletion bill backs to suppliers
• Work with Pricing Analyst to find unprofitable products/programs and recommend solutions
• Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with through your job

Required Education and Experience

• Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
