Job summary

Suvoda is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Analyst contractor to join our pricing and client-delivery team. You will analyze client requirements and system configurations to calculate the financial components of contracts, and manage the change order queue from request to signature.

This 12-month role partners with Finance, Legal and Project Teams to ensure accurate budgeting, reflect changes in master agreements, and prepare precise change orders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of contract processes and strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with data interpretation and data-driven decisions.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with CRM, Salesforce, and MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client requirements and existing system configurations to calculate the financial components of client contracts.
  • Effectively manage the change order queue from initial request to final execution.
  • Manage the input of study specifications within budget calculators.
  • Analyze client requirements to calculate the financial components of client proposals.
  • Prepare, edit and/or customize change orders to reflect changes in assumptions and budget summaries.
  • Ensure change orders align with pricing and terms in master agreements and templates.
  • Schedule and lead Change Order Alignment calls with project teams.
  • Communicate with Project Team and Finance to support timely delivery of change orders.
  • Notify Legal of customer changes to terms in draft Change Orders and incorporate feedback.
  • Send fully approved Change Orders for signature and ensure execution is saved.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as needed.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical thinker to join our team as a Contract Analyst contractor who enjoys working with numbers and solving pricing puzzles as much as managing processes. This role sits at the intersection of pricing, finance, and client delivery. The day-to-day is analytical, calculating the financial components behind proposals and change orders, and partnering closely with Finance, Legal, and Project Teams to see each one through to signature.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze client requirements and existing system configurations to calculate the financial components of client contracts
  • Effectively manage the change order queue from initial request to final execution
  • Manage the input of study specifications within budget calculators
  • Analyze client requirements to calculate the financial components of client proposals
  • Prepare, edit and/or customize change orders to accurately reflect the changes in assumptions and budget summaries
  • Ensure change orders are consistent with pricing/financial terms outlined in customer master agreements and applicable change order template
  • Schedule and Lead the Change Order Alignment calls with the project team(s)
  • Actively communicate with the Project Team and Finance to support the timely and accurate delivery of change orders
  • Notify Legal Department of any customer changes to legal terms in draft Change Orders, incorporate feedback from Legal in next draft, and manage any back and forth with customer
  • Send fully approved Change Orders for signature and ensure fully executed Change Orders are saved appropriately
  • Perform other duties, assignments or special projects as needed. The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description represent the major responsibilities of the position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned, as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of contract processes and strategies
  • Strongknowledge of MS Word and Excel applications
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Self-motivated, attentive to detail and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with CRM, salesforce.com

Experience and Contracting
  • 3-5 years of finance or contract review experience
  • 12-month contract, with potential to move FT as business needs and performance dictate
