Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Manager of Pricing Analytics in Bentonville, AR to translate competitive market data into actionable pricing intelligence. The role involves extracting and analyzing pricing datasets, building dashboards, and delivering insights to senior leadership.

You will work withPricing/Decision Science and Merchandising partners to drive price leadership and member value, leveraging SQL, PowerBI/Tableau, and advanced Excel models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field and 2 years’ experience in merchandising, retail pricing, sourcing, operations management, finance, marketing, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in merchandising, retail pricing, sourcing, operations management, finance, marketing, or related area.
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tools.
• Experience with PowerBI or Tableau.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with ability to present data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyze pricing datasets to identify price gaps, trends, and opportunities.
• Write SQL queries to extract/transform data from large pricing and sales databases.
• Develop and maintain dashboards in PowerBI or Tableau and analytical models in Excel.
• Monitor price movements and communicate changes with recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with Technology and Analytics teams to improve data pipelines and reduce manual work.
• Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve workflows.
