Job summary
Amcor seeks a pricing and quoting specialist to support price maintenance and customer analysis for transactional business opportunities. You will develop, validate, and maintain competitive price levels; collaborate with Sales, Price Coordinators, and Customer Care to resolve price discrepancies and improve the customer experience.
The role emphasizes detailed pricing accuracy, cross-functional teamwork, and process improvements to streamline pricing reviews and approvals across pricing systems
Qualifications
- BS degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
- 1+ year of quoting/cost analysis or pricing experience preferred.
- Intermediate Excel and Access skills; ERP experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards software is a plus; ability to handle confidential information.
Responsibilities
- Quoting smaller/transactional business opportunities.
- Review/approve/create/maintain end user pricing for sales.
- Enter approved ongoing/OTO pricing into pricing systems.
- Lead daily/weekly calls to review order discrepancies.
- Establish traceability for each customer's pricing.
- Communicate price changes in JD Edwards and other systems.
- Troubleshoot pricing entry issues with Customer Care and resolve orders with price discrepancies.
