Job summary

Amcor in Evansville, Indiana, seeks a Pricing Analyst to support price maintenance, customer analysis, and quotes for transactional opportunities, ensuring pricing is accurate for end users and repeat orders. You will partner with Sales, Price Coordinators, and Customer Care to resolve price discrepancies and streamline pricing processes to improve customer experience and earnings.

A BS in finance/accounting and pricing experience are preferred, with strong Excel/Access skills and willingness to

Qualifications

• BS degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of quoting/cost analysis and/or pricing experience preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills, effective communication, and ability to maintain confidential information.
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office; emphasis on Excel and Access.
• Clear understanding of sales order processes and basic pricing concepts using ERP in a manufacturing environment.
• High proficiency in JD Edwards a plus.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and with teams.
• Ability to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Quoting smaller/transactional business opportunities.
• Review/Approve/Create/Maintain end user pricing for sales.
• Enter approved ongoing/OTO pricing into pricing systems.
• Lead daily/weekly calls to review order discrepancies.
• Establish traceability for each customer’s pricing.
• Communicate price changes in JD Edwards and pricing software.
• Troubleshoot pricing entry issues with Customer Care and resolve order discrepancies.
• Develop/improve process flows and documents for product lines.
• Assist with system automation and training.
• Handle special pricing-related reporting and projects as needed.
