Cox Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Pricing Analyst II in Phoenix to support pricing and profitability initiatives through data analysis, model development, and reporting.

You will partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to uncover pricing opportunities and drive data-driven decisions. The role emphasizes building pricing models in Excel, analyzing trends, and delivering dashboards and reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 2 years’ experience, or master’s with up to 2 years, or 6+ years with no degree.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Index Match, Power Query, and financial modeling.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for visualization.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing support for assigned products, customers, business units, or operational areas.
• Analyze sales, revenue, volume, and margin trends to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Evaluate customer buying patterns, pricing performance, competitor activity, and industry trends.
• Support the development and execution of pricing strategies to improve profitability and competitiveness.
• Create and/or maintain pricing models using Excel and other analytical tools.
• Develop statistical and logical pricing analyses based on historical performance and market conditions.
• Perform pricing and profitability analyses for customer opportunities, renewals, bids, and strategic initiatives.
• Create and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools showing pricing performance and key metrics.
• Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and what-if analyses to evaluate financial impact.
• Support pricing tool development and automation to respond quickly to market changes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support pricing decisions and business objectives.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to leadership.
