Responsibilities

• Coordinate between scheduling and warehouse team daily concerning any raw material variances.
• Return remaining raw materials after Preweigh processes complete according to warehouse specifications.
• Follow all instructions on production cards and daily schedule.
• Keep accurate production records and accurate reporting in SAP and report information daily.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished goods for weight, color, appearance, texture, labeling, packaging; report defects.
• Coordinate with supervisors daily concerning scheduling variances and process improvements.
• Perform sanitation, housekeeping, and safety procedures.
• Help maintain equipment and report or resolve breakdowns.
• Participate in team/department meetings.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• 3 years in a manufacturing environment


• Basic computer knowledge


• Ability to work in a dusty environment with strong odors and high noise/decibel levels


• Ability to work in an environment with potential exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents


• Ability to work overtime on short notice and on weekends


• Ability to work in a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED


• Proven mechanical ability


• Preweigh experience


• SAP experience
