Responsibilities

• Coordinate between scheduling and warehouse team daily concerning raw material variances.
• Return remaining raw materials after Preweigh processes complete according to warehouse specs.
• Follow production cards and daily schedule.
• Keep accurate production records and SAP reporting daily.
• Inspect materials and products for weight, color, appearance, texture, labeling, packaging; report defects.
• Coordinate with supervisors on variances and process improvements.
• Maintain sanitation, housekeeping, and safety procedures.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and breakdowns.
• Participate in team/department meetings.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Perform proper sanitation, housekeeping, and safety procedures
• Help maintain equipment, reporting, and/or resolving any breakdowns or problems
• Participate in all team/department meetings
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work in a dusty environment with strong odors and high noise/decibel levels
• Ability to work in an environment with potential exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven mechanical ability
• Preweigh experience
• SAP experience
