U-Haul Holding Company is seeking a preventive maintenance technician to service the latest fleet, including Ford and GMC trucks. You’ll perform oil changes, tire and brake work, suspensions, and pre-inspections while learning through our Technician Training Program.

A paid hands-on interview and a $100 hiring bonus are offered to new team members. Whether you’re new to the industry or have experience, U-Haul provides tools, support, and a family atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Basic computer skills and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Assist in other areas as directed by supervisor.
