U-Haul is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to service Ford and GMC trucks, ensuring the fleet remains in top condition for customers. The role offers paid training opportunities, a pathway to growth, and a paid hands-on interview with a $100 hiring bonus.

You will use U-Haul’s proprietary tools to inspect and care for field vehicles, with opportunities to learn from experienced team members in a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
