Job summary

Intralox, L.L.C. in Harahan, LA, seeks an Equipment Maintenance PM Technician for its plastics manufacturing plant. You will perform preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, automation, and support equipment to ensure peak production performance.

Responsibilities include using schematics to repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, calibrating equipment, and maintaining PM documentation. 5+ years of repair experience and strong teamwork are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Overtime and weekend availability as needed.
• Effective communication with a wide range of individuals.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in basic computer programs (Email, MS Office).
• Ability to operate machine tools (drill press, grinder, band saw).
• Self-managed, team-focused and customer-service oriented.

• PM and repair equipment for the central blending system.
• Ensure PM documentation is accurate and completed.

Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for preventative maintenance of state-of-the-art Injection Molding Machines, Custom Automation and support equipment. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift and assemble machine components, 70 pound maximum, and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to communicate effective with a wide range of individuals and varying technical ability levels
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in basic computer programs (Email, Microsoft Office, Etc.)
• Ability to operate machine tools, such as a drill press, bench grinder, band saw
• Self-managed and motivated individual who can work well within a team environment
• Provide and understand the value of excellent customer service

Desired Qualifications

• Associate degree in a manufacturing field
• Trade school education
• 5+ years experience in the repair of automated machinery
• High voltage electrical skills, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge is a PLUS
• PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
• Previous plastics manufacturing experience
