Job summary

Intralox, L.L.C. in Harahan, LA, seeks an Equipment Maintenance PM Technician for its plastics manufacturing plant. You will perform preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, automation, and support equipment to ensure peak production performance.

Responsibilities include using schematics to repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, calibrating equipment, and maintaining PM documentation. 5+ years of repair experience and strong teamwork are preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift 70 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Overtime and weekend availability as needed.
Effective communication with a wide range of individuals.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficient in basic computer programs (Email, MS Office).
Ability to operate machine tools (drill press, grinder, band saw).
Self-managed, team-focused and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

Performs PM tasks to return production equipment to planned schedule.
Utilize schematics, prints, and work instructions to maintain and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic assemblies.
Repair hydraulic systems on injection molding machinery.
Calibrate injection molding equipment for peak performance.
Repair and service secondary equipment associated with injection molding.
PM and repair equipment for the central blending system.
Ensure PM documentation is accurate and completed.
