Job summary

Whaley Foodservice, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment, with a focus on gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam systems. The role includes on-call duties, a company vehicle, and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electrical and mechanical experience, the ability to work independently, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical and mechanical experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• If refrigeration – relevant certifications or licensing as required by state.
• High level of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance of gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• Complete required paperwork for every job (parts order, work order, timesheet) on a timely basis.
• Communicate professionally with customer regarding required repairs and status.
• Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools.
• Monitor truck stock to insure required parts are stocked on vehicle.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms.
