Job summary

GreenWood, Inc. is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to plan and perform routine maintenance on equipment, machinery, tools, and buildings. You will analyze service manuals, schedules, and records to optimize maintenance frequency while coordinating with staff to prevent production interference.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and cost estimation for scheduled maintenance, with a focus on quality and reliability in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years production maintenance experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and performs preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, tools, and/or buildings.
• Reviews manufacturers’ service manuals and usage schedules to set optimum maintenance frequency.
• Studies production schedules and coordinates with staff to avoid interfering with operations.
• Schedules and performs inspections of equipment, machinery, tools, and/or buildings.
• Estimates costs associated with scheduled maintenance.
• Maintains records of planned and completed maintenance.
• Follows safety procedures and fosters a safety-first culture.
