Job summary

Goldbelt Glacier is seeking a Prevention Coordinator to support NG Bureau programs, including SAP and Suicide Prevention, for National Guard and ARNG units. The role involves quarterly briefings, timely data entry into DAMIS/ALURRT, and coordinating prevention trainings across teams.

The candidate should have a related degree with substantial experience in substance abuse prevention or resilience, plus strong briefing, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field plus four years of practical experience in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, or Resilience, and program and case management, or 10 years of practical experience.
• Experience in instructing and briefing skills, which demonstrate flexibility with various audiences.
• Ability to pass a background check and become CAC eligible.

Responsibilities

• Shall provide information briefing (Quarterly) on State and National level Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention.
• Shall input SAP and SP training and applicable information into DAMIS and ALURRT within 48 hours of receipt.
• Shall electronically report all scheduled SAP and SP training within 48 hours of training completion.
• Shall input all assessment/referral and treatment data of Service Members into DAMIS within 24 hours of appointment.
• Shall coordinate and conduct SAP Training and SP Training for Service members, families and ARNG units that meet or exceed requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
