Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a cGMP environment, including 1+ years in calibration and validation.

We work with pharmaceutical partners and international regulatory agencies across the globe to develop companion diagnostics, which are necessary to gain approval of new drugs and treatments for cancer patients. Our harmonized ISO15189 accredited and CLIA/CAP clinical laboratories offer a test menu focused on biomarkers which are clinically actionable to support therapeutic decisions, measurable residual disease (MRD) testing, patient stratification, and trial enrollment, all designed to accelerate approvals of new oncology drugs and treatments.

We are looking to add a Preventative Maintenance Technician II. The Preventative Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining the maintenance programs under ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, as well as other external regulations.

Core Responsibilities Include

Preventative Maintenance (PM)

• Performs maintenance on technical scientific equipment such as the following:

• Sequencers: MiSeq Dx, NextSeq Dx, NovaSeq, S5/IonChef
• Fragment Analysis: ABI 3500Dx, Agilent 2100
• PCR/RT-PCR: Veriti Dx, ABI7500 Dx
• UV Spec: BioTech, NanoDrop
• Robotic systems: PE Janus platform

Assists in the maintenance of the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.

Coordinates with offsite service providers and on-site staff for PM or repair of equipment.

Creates, implements, and maintains equipment maintenance procedures.

Creates, executes, and closes work orders for preventative maintenance and repairs.

Purchases consumables required for maintenance.

Maintains service agreements.

Site

• Assists in maintaining equipment asset programs such as calibration and validation.
• Tags equipment out of service when necessary and returns them into service when appropriate.
• Supports monitoring of critical equipment to ensure materials and processes meet specifications (Vaisala).
• Develops and improves SOPs, reports, and training for facility and equipment maintenance.
• Assists in training programs related to SOPs and facility software systems.
• Proficient in using electronic documentation systems like QCBD and Vaisala.
• May guide and train others.

You Bring

• A.S. degree or equivalent, with 3+ years experience in a cGMP environment, including 1+ years in calibration and validation. B.S. beneficial.
• Knowledge of PCR and molecular biology is advantageous.
• Experience with aseptic techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Blue Beam for documentation.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software.
