Job summary

International Game Technology (IGT) is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to support gaming equipment at Virginia bingo halls. This temporary 90-day assignment covers deliveries, on-site support, basic IT troubleshooting, and inventory tasks, with evening hours from 3pm-11pm on Mon, Thu, and Sun. Flex hours available midweek.

The ideal candidate enjoys field work, has strong customer service, a valid driver’s license, and is comfortable with technology and older adults.

Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Background check required.
  • Able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds safely.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working with older adults and charity staff.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and with technical teams.
  • Organized and able to manage equipment, inventory, invoices, and service tasks.
  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
  • Experience in IT, field service, delivery, or technical support preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pack and load the company van with electronic bingo tablets and equipment.
  • Deliver equipment to assigned bingo halls and assist with setup.
  • Remain on-site for the full bingo session to support customers and charity hall staff.
  • Help customers and staff use the tablets and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Service bingo halls and maintain equipment, including cleaning desks and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot basic computer, network, tablet, and connectivity issues.
  • Escalate technical problems to the Help Desk when needed.
  • Represent the company professionally at customer locations.
  • Generate and process invoices and maintain inventory records.
  • Organize inventory and prepare equipment for delivery.

Preventative Maintenance Technician (Gaming Equipment)
Overview

The Preventative Maintenance Technician supports bingo hall operations through equipment delivery, on‑site customer support, basic IT troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and light administrative work. The role requires a reliable, hands‑on individual who is comfortable working with customers and technology. Training is provided, making the position suitable for a college student.

The ideal candidate enjoys field work, customer service, driving, and technology, and can move between equipment deliveries, customer support during bingo sessions, basic network troubleshooting, and inventory updates.

This is a temporary assignment lasting 90 days. Monday, Thursday and Sunday 3pm-11pm. The candidate will have the option to choose either Wednesday or Friday each week and hours will be flexible on these days between days/evenings.

Responsibilities
  • Pack and load the company van with electronic bingo tablets and equipment.
  • Deliver equipment to assigned bingo halls and assist with setup.
  • Remain on‑site for the full bingo session to support customers and charity hall staff.
  • Help customers and staff use the tablets and resolve basic technical issues.

Deliveries and Field Service

  • Service bingo halls and maintain equipment as needed, including cleaning bingo desks and related hardware.
  • Troubleshoot basic computer, network, tablet, and connectivity issues.
  • Escalate technical problems to the Help Desk when needed.
  • Represent the company professionally at customer locations.

Administrative and Inventory

  • Generate and process invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment, supplies, and deliveries.
  • Organize inventory and prepare equipment for delivery.
  • Document service issues and share relevant details with the Help Desk, Network, Software Engineering, and other teams.
Qualifications

Required

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Background check required.
  • Comfortable driving a company vehicle between customer locations.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working with older adults and charity volunteer bingo hall staff.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with technical teams.
  • Organized, with the ability to manage equipment, inventory, invoices, and service tasks.

Preferred

  • CompTIA A+ certification.
  • Previous experience in IT, field service, delivery, or technical support.
