Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is seeking a dependable Traveling Preventative Maintenance Technician to service our fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles across Missouri. This role involves scheduled preventive maintenance and documentation while traveling between projects.

Based mainly in Missouri, the position requires overnight stays and travel to out-of-state projects as needed. A CDL Class A or B is preferred, along with 3+ years of PM experience; you will join a 100%

Qualifications

• 3+ years of preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, or diesel-powered equipment.
• Willingness to travel throughout Missouri and overnight travel.
• Must reside within approximately 50-60 miles of Hannibal, MO.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles throughout Missouri.
• Complete lubrication services, oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks according to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, leaks, or other maintenance concerns and report findings to leadership.
• Assist mechanics with minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep service trucks, tools, and work areas clean and organized.
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to keep equipment available and project ready.

Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) is seeking a dependable and motivated Traveling Preventative Maintenance Technician to help maintain our fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles throughout Missouri. In this role, you'll perform scheduled preventative maintenance services that keep our equipment operating safely and efficiently across multiple construction projects. This position is primarily based in Missouri but requires travel throughout the region, including occasional out of state projects as business needs dictate. What You'll Do

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles throughout Missouri.
• Complete lubrication services, oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks according to manufacturer specifications.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, agricultural equipment, or diesel powered equipment preferred.
• Must reside within approximately 50-60 miles of Hannibal, MO.
• Must be willing to travel throughout Missouri
• Must be willing to do overnights as you will be traveling
• Previous experience as a lube technician, PM technician, fleet maintenance technician, or similar role preferred.
• Basic understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment components.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel throughout Missouri and surrounding states as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
