Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons travels across Missouri to service a fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles. The Traveling Preventative Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, lubrication, and inspections to keep equipment safe and project-ready.

The role requires 3+ years of PM experience on diesel-powered equipment, a willingness to travel, and the ability to work independently with a safety-first mindset. CDL is preferred or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, or diesel-powered equipment.
• Must reside within approximately 50–60 miles of Hannibal, MO, and be willing to travel throughout Missouri.
• CDL Class A or Class B preferred or must be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles throughout Missouri.
• Complete lubrication services, oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks according to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, leaks, or other maintenance concerns and report findings to leadership.
• Assist mechanics with minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep service trucks, tools, and work areas clean and organized.
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to keep equipment available and project ready.

Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) is seeking a dependable and motivated Traveling Preventative Maintenance Technician to help maintain our fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles throughout Missouri. In this role, you'll perform scheduled preventative maintenance services that keep our equipment operating safely and efficiently across multiple construction projects.This position is primarily based in Missouri but requires travel throughout the region, including occasional out of state projects as business needs dictate.
