Job summary

Amcor in the United States is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Team Leader to direct maintenance operations, coordinate repairs, and lead departmental safety efforts to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

You will provide day-to-day leadership to the PM team, prioritize work, and collaborate with production to minimize downtime while driving improvements in efficiency. This role requires hands-on leadership in a manufacturing setting and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Dependable with a solid work history.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Capable of physical mobility including lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct the repair of molding machines and automated equipment.
• Schedule preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, retrofits, and downtime tasks.
• Serve as a Front-Line Leader for the MM Department.
• Maintain appropriate spare parts and plan repairs.
• Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Communicate information to departmental personnel as needed.
• Monitor and close out work orders for PM systems.
• Lead safety efforts for the department.
• Train and mentor team members to improve equipment efficiency.
