Job summary

Flynn Hospitality is seeking an Engineer – Preventative Maintenance to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform scheduled maintenance across hotel properties and service critical building systems to keep guest areas safe and functional.

You’ll document work, log service records, and collaborate with the Engineering Lead to meet safety standards and brand expectations. Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required, as we value reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• General maintenance or facilities background.
• Willingness to follow preventative maintenance checklists.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift 25+ lbs.
• Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance rounds across hotel property.
• Inspect and service building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
• Document work completed, log service records, and report potential issues.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety, brand, and compliance standards.
• Support guest satisfaction by maintaining a safe and functional environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering Lead or Supervisor and support overall department needs.
