Job summary

The Certified Payroll Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the company’s certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance function within Point Pleasant, WV. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, local, customer, and project-specific payroll requirements, including Davis Bacon and prevailing wage regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Human Resources or related field.
• Five+ years in payroll, certified payroll or payroll compliance, with leadership experience.
• Construction industry exposure and knowledge of Davis Bacon and prevailing wage requirements.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance across projects and units.
• Ensure accurate reporting per federal, state, local and customer requirements.
• Interpret wage determinations, fringe benefits, overtime, and classifications.
• Develop processes, controls, training, and audit support for payroll compliance.
