Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor (PBA) to maximize sales in the prestige category by engaging guests and guiding them to the right color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance. You will support the Sales Manager through delivering exceptional guest service, conducting makeovers, and coordinating in-store events to boost prestige brand performance.

The role requires passion for the beauty industry, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Cosmetology, esthetician or demonstrator’s license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion and significant competency for prestige product, guest service, and selling.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, retail shrink and omni-channel sales, with focus on prestige category and iconic brands.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, recommending products, and informing guests of promotions and events.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Book appointments for, and support the execution of, services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering prestige brand sales goals.
• Stay informed on new industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
