Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Pressure Fabrication Weld Inspector & QC Technician to ensure quality on the shop floor. You will confirm fit-up pre-weld, inspect in-process welds, and perform final post-weld verifications, using gauges and weld symbols per WPS and drawings.

Role requires experience in welding or heavy manufacturing, ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of QA procedures; NDT support and strong documentation are expected parts of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding, fabrication, machining, or heavy manufacturing.
• Read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.
• Knowledge of WPS, inspection methods, and shop QA procedures.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-weld: confirm fit-up, alignment, and WPS compliance against current drawings.
• During weld: perform in-process inspections to catch defects early.
• Post-weld: complete final visual inspections and verification.
• Document inspection records and quality documentation.
• Support or perform NDT to validate results.
• Collaborate with production to resolve issues at the point of manufacture.
