Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a skilled Pressure Vessel Fabrication Operator to transform heavy plate into precision components using plate rolls, brake presses, plasma cutters, and cutting systems. You will support welding operations and read blueprints to ensure ASME-compliant fabrication on a team-focused floor.

You must handle heavy materials safely while maintaining strict quality controls. Training is provided to grow capabilities in plasma cutting and blueprint interpretation on complex

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with plate rolling, brake press setup/operation, shear operation, plasma cutting, and welding.
• Welding experience in an ASME Code environment is highly desirable.
• Proven ability welding pressure vessels or large structural products is highly desirable.
• Dependable work history with basic math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications and blueprints to plan setup and sequence.
• Roll plate from 3/16" up to 1" thickness to diameters up to 120" with accuracy.
• Set up and operate the brake press to form components to spec.
• Operate a 1/2" shear and perform plasma cutting and plate layout.
• Support welding operations and pursue weld certifications as needed.
• Work independently from defined specs while collaborating with teammates.
• Adhere to the company quality control system and ASME-related practices.
• Handle heavy materials safely and maintain safety-focused practices.
