Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Willard, Ohio is seeking a Pressroom Operator to join our Willard manufacturing team. In this role you’ll perform production activities in the press room, operate automatic presses, and support setup and changeover of dies while upholding safety and quality standards.

You’ll work with a team to inspect parts, follow ISO procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement. A high school diploma or GED is required, with die setting experience preferred and lift truck

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Lift truck license or training required.
• Pass required certifications for the position.
• Experience with die setting preferred.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently or in a group.
• Learn to operate automatic press and die changeovers.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Read and comprehend instructions.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic presses and related equipment.
• Set up dies and perform changeovers in the press room.
• Inspect parts in-process and finished products.
• Follow ISO standards and safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support departmental tasks as assigned by supervisor.
