Job summary

Responsibilities

• Read and understand job tickets and work instructions.
• Locate paper for jobs and move to press.
• Locate ink for jobs and give to the press crews.
• Locate plates for jobs and give to the press crews.
• Stack finished printed sheets into loads for bindery and shipping.
• Perform basic inspection while stacking loads.
• Keep chemical supplies available for the press crews.
• Move loads in the pressroom using a hand operated pallet jack.
• General cleanup and assist in keeping the work area clean.
• Duty to learn the skills to move up to the next pressroom skill position.
• Other duties as requested/assigned.
