Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Machine Operator II - Presses for the Reno, NV facility. The role operates presses, troubleshoots issues, records data in SAP, and maintains production flow on 2:30PM-11PM shift. The hourly base rate is $22.73 plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Ideal candidates have prior manufacturing experience, ability to read blueprints, and a solid grasp of measurement tools. On-site work with strong safety practices is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate machinery and presses safely.
• Ability to read, accurately interpret, and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material
• Ability to read tape measures, scales, and calipers
• Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
• QC and document all parts run on machines
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
• Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
• Maintain a clean work area
