Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Machine Operator II (1st Shift) in Reno, NV. The role involves operating and troubleshooting presses, reading blueprints, tagging parts, and entering data into SAP. Core hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with an hourly rate of $22.73.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English.
• Able to operate machinery and presses safely.
• Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings.
• Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material.
• Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers.
• Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
• QC and document all parts run on machines
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
• Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
• Keep work areas clean and safe
