Ohio Gratings is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to join the Press Weld Technical Operations team and develop into Clifford Mechanical Technicians.

This role emphasizes hands-on training, industry-specific skill growth, and a four-level career path designed to build specialized expertise in Clifford equipment and related mechanical systems.

Our Clifford Mechanical career path provides opportunities to progress through four levels:

Level 1 – Clifford Mechanical Associate

Develop foundational mechanical skills through supervised repairs, inspections, component work, and equipment rebuilds.

Build independence in routine mechanical repairs, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and subsystem rebuilds.

Become qualified to independently diagnose and repair Clifford equipment, perform precision alignments, and lead major mechanical repairs.

Level 4 – Senior Clifford Reliability Technician

Serve as a mechanical subject matter expert, lead complex troubleshooting and major rebuilds, improve equipment reliability, and mentor other technicians.

Advancement is based on demonstrated technical competency, providing a clear path to increased responsibility and professional growth.

What We're Looking For

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, mechanical drives, welding, machining, or precision measuring tools is a plus.
