Ohio Gratings is looking for mechanically talented individuals to join our Press Weld Technical Operations team and develop into specialized Clifford Mechanical Technicians.

• Become a technical leader with opportunities to mentor developing technicians, lead complex repairs, and contribute to equipment improvements.

Our Clifford Mechanical career path provides opportunities to progress through four levels:

Level 1 – Clifford Mechanical Associate
Develop foundational mechanical skills through supervised repairs, inspections, component work, and equipment rebuilds.

Level 2 – Clifford Mechanical Technician
Build independence in routine mechanical repairs, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and subsystem rebuilds.

Level 3 – Clifford Equipment Technician
Become qualified to independently diagnose and repair Clifford equipment, perform precision alignments, and lead major mechanical repairs.

Level 4 – Senior Clifford Reliability Technician
Serve as a mechanical subject matter expert, lead complex troubleshooting and major rebuilds, improve equipment reliability, and mentor other technicians.

Advancement is based on demonstrated technical competency, providing a clear path to increased responsibility and professional growth.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong mechanical aptitude and enjoys hands-on troubleshooting.

• Has experience with industrial maintenance, heavy equipment, machine repair, fabrication, or related mechanical work.

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, mechanical drives, welding, machining, or precision measuring tools is a plus.
