Worthington Steel in Cuyahoga Heights, OH, is seeking an Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a night shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.).

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems on heavy production equipment, with hands-on work across hydraulics, pneumatics and controls to keep our steel process running safely and efficiently. The role offers $25-$45/hour based on experience, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits from Day 1, along with opportunities for certifications,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance or related skilled-trades experience.
• Ability to safely troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
• Ability to work 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot motors, controls and industrial electrical systems.
• Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs and ladder logic.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints and schematics.
• Complete mechanical repairs and equipment adjustments.
• Perform welding, cutting and fabrication as needed.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs.
• Partner with production to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Worthington Steel is looking for an Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician with mechanical aptitude and an industrial electrical background to join our Cuyahoga Heights team.

You'll work hands-on with industrial production equipment while continuing to develop your skills in electrical systems, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and other areas of industrial maintenance.

Your Schedule

This position is specifically for 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

What You'll Work On

This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role supporting the equipment that keeps our steel processing operation running.

• · Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment problems
• · Troubleshoot motors, controls and industrial electrical systems
• · Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs and ladder logic
• · Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• · Perform preventive maintenance
• · Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints and schematics

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is a troubleshooter at heart. You don't just want to replace a part. You want to understand what failed, determine why and fix the problem correctly.

You may be a great fit if you have:

• · Industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance or related skilled-trades experience
• · Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• · Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• · Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints and schematics
• · Experience using meters and diagnostic tools
• · A strong commitment to safety
• · The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, ladder logic, HMIs, welding and fabrication is highly valued.
