Job summary

Amcor LLC in Bowling Green, KY is hiring a Press Assistant who will support the Production Supervisor in the Printing and Converting Department. You will help prepare presses for flexographic printing, perform setup, monitor quality, and assist with scrap control and routine equipment checks to keep production flowing safely.

The role requires basic math and measurement reading, English communication, and the ability to work with minimal direction.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to read a measuring tape.
• Mechanical inclination is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist press operator with setup and prep for flexographic printing.
• Perform line setup, scrap control, and quality checks.
• Complete required paperwork and inform maintenance/issues promptly.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping per OSHA guidelines.
• Support production run including ink distribution, material setup and loading.
