Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Press Assistant in our California facility to support the Press Department. You will help set up and operate the press, assist with plate prep, and ensure clean and safe production for lamination and finishing.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to train under the Press Operator. Join a team dedicated to quality, safety and timely production.

Qualifications

• 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be detail conscious, quality control and safe production oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations in the Press Department and assist with set ups and cleaning.
• Assist with plate prepping and cylinder sleeving.
• Housekeeping in press, prepress, and ink waste areas.
• Accurately measuring and recording anilox volumes after cleaning.
• Drain and clean ink pots and press components.
• Assist the Press Operator with set ups, paperwork, and operation of equipment.
