Amcor is seeking a Press Assistant to support the Printing and Converting Department. You will help prepare presses for flexographic printing, assist with setup, and participate in the press run from start to finish.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with attention to ink distribution, material handling, and quality control. A high school diploma and mechanical aptitude are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Mechanical aptitude essential for setup and handling equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and take measurements.
• Basic math skills for operating in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist press operator with setup and preparation for flexographic printing.
• Maintain line setup, scrap control, and quality checks per supervisor directions.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report issues promptly.
• Complete required paperwork and follow safety and housekeeping rules.
