Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Press Assistant in Bowling Green, KY to support the Printing and Converting Department. You will assist the press operator with press preparation and set-up for flexographic printing, while maintaining production and quality standards.

Requirements include high school graduation or equivalent and the ability to read, write and communicate in English, plus the ability to read a tape measure.

Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination is essential.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Ability to read and understand a measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Assist press operator in preparation and set-up for flexographic printing.
• Perform line setup, scrap control, quality checks and perform required paperwork.
• Notify maintenance or management of equipment issues and ensure safety and housekeeping rules are followed.
• Maintain production and quality standards as directed by the Department Manager.
• Support all aspects of the press run from preparation to final quality checks.
