Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Press Assistant in California to support the Press Department in setup, operation and quality control for lamination and finishing processes. You will assist with plate prep, ink handling, and paperwork while maintaining safety and housekeeping in press areas.

The role emphasizes accurate measurements, timely production, and training under the Press Operator to ensure quality products and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be detail conscious with a safety-first mindset.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Press Operator with setup and operation of the press.
• Accurately measure and record anilox volumes and other specifications.
• Prepare inks, plates and roll fixtures; maintain cleanliness in press areas.
