Job summary

Amcor LLC in North Carolina seeks a General Technician for the Production Department. The role supports Offset/Offline operations across press, folder/gluer, and material handling areas with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.

You will load pallets, verify job accuracy, and assist with press downtime, department setup, and equipment changeovers while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic forklift skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required and 1–3 years of related production experience or training.
• Must have very good mechanical and physical ability.
• Lift truck operators must maintain safety training for operation of all equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive product from press and stack on pallets.
• Ensure correct loading of product onto pallets for material handling.
• Print pallet labels and verify job docket information.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and promptly report issues to supervisors.
• Assist in press setup/breakdown and trouble-shoot minor problems.
• Support OHSE compliance and safe material handling procedures.
