You will monitor press operations, troubleshoot minor issues, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with team members to maintain production quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Press Roll Tender or similar role in a printing environment.
• Knowledge of printing press operations, paper handling, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy rolls of paper and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of press machinery.
• Adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Load/unload paper rolls, monitor/replenish supplies, and inspect rolls for defects.
• Press Operation Support: Assist with press setup, monitor operations for quality output, and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections and collaborate with the quality control team to address print quality issues.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and address issues.
