Bradford & Bigelow, Inc. is seeking a Roll Tender for the Manroland press on the second shift. You will support press operation, mount plates and blankets, and ensure proper stock usage and safety practices.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read job tickets, and commitment to quality in a fast-paced printing environment. Willingness to train is a plus, with opportunity for growth in the pressroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a printing environment preferred but not required; willing to train.
• Ability to operate fork/clamp trucks safely.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies and procedures.
• Operate Zero-Speed and Flying Paster Splicers as needed.
• Operate clamp trucks, Fork / Clamp trucks and Electric Jacks.
• Read and understand job tickets.
• Prepare plates to be mounted.
• Assist press operator with mounting plates and blankets.
• Assist during job start-ups.
• Record stock usage accurately.
• Maintain pressroom materials and chemicals.
• Monitor fountain solution pH and conductivity.
• Perform preventive maintenance on splicers.
• Follow SDS guidelines and OSHA safety procedures.
• Keep work area neat and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
