Job summary

G-TEKT in Austin, IN is seeking a Press Associate to safely receive, inspect, and handle stamped parts as they exit the press, ensuring quality and on-time delivery to internal and external customers.

You will support CSR initiatives, follow ISO‑9001 requirements, maintain a clean 5S workspace, and collaborate with the press team to keep production flowing and problems resolved quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or automotive experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow standardized work and instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and handle stamped parts as they exit the press.
• Support CSR and CSR initiatives with governance.
• Support press operators and maintain steady production flow.
• Respond quickly to issues that could impact downstream processes or customers.
• Communicate clearly during shift changes and when issues arise.
• Maintain safety and quality and follow ISO-9001 requirements.
• Catch, stack, or place stamped parts from press operations safely.
• Conduct visual and tactile inspection of parts.
