Job summary

Flex-N-Gate, a leading automotive components manufacturer, is seeking a General Service for the Press Department. You will catch, handle, and inspect stamped parts as they exit press machines, ensuring quality and maintaining production flow in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work around heavy machinery with proper PPE. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, a 401(k), safety training, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery, noise, and repetitive motion tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stand at the end of press machines to catch freshly stamped parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform visual and manual inspection of parts for defects.
• Sort and separate acceptable parts from non-conforming ones based on quality criteria.
• Record and report defective parts or recurring issues to the supervisor or quality team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and wear PPE.
• Support press changeovers by preparing materials and assisting operators as needed.
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities in the press shop.
