Job summary

Magna International is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing staff and ensure productivity and quality targets are met on the production lines. You will lead a team, schedule workloads, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain efficiency.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in automotive manufacturing or metal stamping, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. This role is based at our Bowling Green, KY site with a hands-on, operational focus.

• Post-secondary education or related experience preferred.
• Leadership experience in automotive manufacturing or metal stamping is required.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervises the activities of production staff including temporary assignments. Schedules staff, issues disciplinary action if required, conducts performance appraisals and other employee relations matters. Reviews production levels to determine priority of production to ensure productivity targets are achieved. Monitors actual performance against targets and initiates corrective action to correct negative variances. Maintains efficiency and quality standards on production lines.

What we are looking for:

• High School diploma or GED
• Post-secondary education or related experience
• Previous leadership role experience in an automotive manufacturing / metal stamping environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Operate standard office equipment
