Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Press Operator in Fairfield, OH to set up and operate flexographic presses, monitor ink colors, and ensure product quality. You will work Monday–Friday, 2:45 pm–11:15 pm, with potential incentive for second shift attendance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and can involve working with hazardous materials and heavy machinery. Strong attention to detail and safety are essential, with opportunities for benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with flexographic presses preferred; machine operation in manufacturing required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, safety guidelines, and memos.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up ink, tooling, and dies per specs and ensure correct substrate cutting.
• Replace master roll, remove waste, and stage materials.
• Monitor ink colors and press settings for quality and consistency.
• Verify materials and color standards match job requirements.
• Operate press to achieve accurate color, fit, and registration.
• Maintain running speeds, tension, and plate alignment; minimize waste.
• Perform quality checks and document material usage.
• Complete required paperwork and assist with maintenance and housekeeping.
