Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Flexographic Press Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM) in Ohio. This direct hire role offers $20–$28 per hour plus benefits, based on experience, and requires prior experience running Pressure Sensitive Narrow Web Flexo Printing Presses.

You will perform press operations, verify ink, stock, and plates, log setup data, monitor color registration and die cuts, and prepare finished rolls for finishing.

Qualifications

• Requires prior experience running pressure sensitive narrow web flexo printing presses.

Responsibilities

• Performs typical press operations.
• Review job ticket and work with Press Helper to ensure job is set up properly on the press (ink, dies, stock, plates).
• Run the job setup on the press and log data related to the job setup in the system.
• Run the job per specifications and log when completed, noting material used, etc.
• While running the press, review printed rolls for quality and consistency related to all aspects of the labels including color registration and die cut.
• Following completion of the job, move finished roll to finishing department and breakdown and clean machine in preparation for the next job.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of the press
