Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an Assistant Flexo Press Operator on 2nd shift in Delaware, OH. You will assist with setting up, operating, and maintaining Flexo presses for folding carton printing, preparing materials, and performing inspections to ensure quality.

The role requires basic experience with flexographic presses, high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or relevant years of experience.
Mechanical aptitude: use hand tools, troubleshoot, and follow written instructions/drawings.
Knowledge of water-based inks and substrates is preferred.
Able to lift/move tooling and dies up to 50 lb as needed.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a small team.
Commitment to safety, quality, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain Flexo presses for folding carton printing.
Prepare materials and inspect for quality during runs.
Adjust machine settings (speed, ink, pressure rolls, temperature) to maintain print quality.
Monitor prints for color accuracy and conformity to specs.
Back up for pre-press tasks; mount plates and color-correct as needed.
Maintain production and quality records and assist with housekeeping.
Cover breaks or fill-in for operators as necessary.
