Job summary

American Plastics is seeking a Production Operator to support production, inspection and packaging of retail storage and janitorial products. You will help ensure quality and safety on the line, rotate presses, and assist with material flow across the lines.

We offer a 2/2/3 fixed schedule with a 3-day weekend every other week, 18+ year old eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package including health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN & AUTHORIZE BACKGROUND CHECK.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation with emphasis on zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specs and packing per customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply lines and staging areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

About the Position

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.

Available Shifts

• Days: 7am – 7pm
• Nights: 7pm – 7am

Duties & Expectations On The Job

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Compensation

What you will enjoy:

Earn up to $22.25 per hour with perfect attendance.
