Job summary

American Plastics is seeking a Production Operator to contribute to production, inspection and packaging of our products. You will help manufacture retail storage and janitorial items in a safe, clean environment as part of a growing team.

Available shifts include Days (5am–5pm) and Nights (5pm–5am) with a 3-day weekend every other week. Earn up to $21.00 per hour, plus $1 night differential, a $500 referral bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. (80 lbs. team lift).
• Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

About the Position:

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.

Available Shifts:

• Days: 5am – 5pm
• Nights: 5pm – 5am

Additional: $1.00 shift differential for night shift: 7pm to 7am
