Job summary

American Plastics is seeking a Production Operator to play a vital role in production, inspection and packaging of core products. You will manufacture retail storage and janitorial items with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency, across days and nights.

The role offers two rotating 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm and 6pm–6am), a robust benefits package, and a 3-day weekend cadence every other week. Training and career growth are emphasized within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN & AUTHORIZE BACKGROUND CHECK

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation and promote zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing per customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 3 to 4 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

About the Position

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.

Available Shifts

• Days: 6am – 6pm
• Nights: 6pm – 6am

Duties & Expectations On The Job

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 3 to 4 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Compensation

What you will enjoy: Earn up to $21.00 per hour with perfect attendance. Additional: $0.75 shift differential for night shift: 6pm to 6am $500 referral bonus, so bring your friends along.
